Abstract: To study the effects of ethanol extract of Rubus Suavissimus S. Lee on blood sugar and glucose tolerance in mice. KM mice were divided into four dosage groupsblank group, high, medium and low ethanol extracts of sweet tea from Rubus suavissimus S. Lee(250,150,100 g/kg). The effects of ethanol extracts on blood sugar in normal mice were observed after 40 days of continuous intragastric administration. The results showed that low-dose group(P<0.01) and middle-dose group (P<0.05) of ethanol extract of Rubus suavissimus S. Lee had significant effects on fasting blood glucose in mice, and with the increase of administration time, they had certain inhibitory effects on hyperglycemia induced by glucose in mice. Compared with the blank control group, the body weight of low-dose group and middle-dose group after 40 days of administration was significant markedly reduced.
