Abstract: To study the adaptability of four lavender varieties under soil drought stress, so as to provide a theoretical basis for the introduction and cultivation of lavender in Yulin area, five physiological indexes of drought resistance of four lavender varieties through drought stress treatment for 0, 5, 10, 15,20,25,30 days were measured and analyzed. The results showed that with the prolongation of drought stress, the leaf relative water content (RWC) of four lavender varieties decreased, among which that of British rose Lavender was the lowest. The content of malondialdehyde (MDA) fluctuated greatly, first increased slightly and then decreased and then increased sharply and then decreased. It reached a high value at 25 d, and the content of France Provence lavender was high. The activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD) and catalase (CAT) increased first and then decreased, and reached a high value at 15 d. Comprehensive evaluation of four kinds of lavender, the ability to adapt to drought stress from the largest to the smallest are sky lavender, narrow leaf lavender, French Provence lavender, British rose lavender. In the relatively dry Yulin area, try the introduction and cultivation of sky lavender.
