Abstract: A microwave digestion-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry for simultaneous determination of eight heavy metal elements in aquatic vegetable was established. The linear range, limit of detection, precision and recovery of the method were investigated. These eight heavy metal elements showed a linear relationship of concentration range. The detection limit was between 0.000 3~0.002 0 mg/kg and the recovery rate ranged between 92.0%~108.0%. The relative standard relative deviation was less than 10%. The advantages of the method established in this study were simple, high sensitivity and precision, less detection limit and good accuracy. The method has great application prospects in the simultaneous determination of eight heavy metal elements in aquatic vegetable.
