Abstract: The flowering stalk height, number of single stalk flowers, leaf length and the variation of flowering period of seed seedling in Hemerocallis hybridus Stella de Oro were studied. The results showed that the variation coefficient of number of single stalk flowers was the largest, the variation coefficient of flowering stalk height and leaf length were larger, and the coefficient of variation of flowering days was the smallest. The number of single stalk flowers and flowering stalk height of seed seedling were highly significantly more than their female parent. According to the calculation of the generalized heritability, the variation of flowering stalk height, number of single stalk flowers and leaf length were mainly controlled by genetic factors, the variation of flowering period mainly controlled by environmental factors. There was a high correlation between flowering stalk height, leaf length and the number of single stalk flowers. Cluster analysis was carried out on seed seedlings, which were divided into 4 groups, from the first group to the fourth group, the height of flower stalk changed from high to low, until there was no flower stalk. Correlation analysis was carried out in each group. In the first and second groups, there was a significant correlation between the height of flower stalk and leaf length, while the rest was negatively correlated. The correlation coefficient between flower stalk height and number of single-stalk flowers increased gradually from the first to the fourth groups, from low degree to high degree.
