Abstract: With the improvement of urbanization level, Guilin residents’ demand for urban recreation is constantly increasing, the city and its surrounding areas need a large amount of recreation space for people’s leisure use. This study analyzed the overall layout and formation mechanism, land type and space distribution of Guilin’s urban recreation areas, used scientific methods to analyze regional tourism supply and demand, summarized and sorted out the general rules of regional optimization, it provides a reference for the design and development of Guilin’s urban tourism products.
