Abstract: Taking 109 districts and counties in Jiangsu province as the spatial analysis units, the spatial agglomeration pattern of strategic emerging industries in Jiangsu province in 2017 was studied by using spatial autocorrelation method. The results showed that, there were large spatial differences in the overall spatial distribution of strategic emerging industries in Jiangsu province, which was more in southern Jiangsu and less in central Jiangsu and northern Jiangsu. There was an obvious spatial agglomeration pattern, which were mainly high-high-level agglomeration and low-low-level agglomeration, high-high-level agglomeration was mainly concentrated in Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou region, and low-low-level agglomeration was mainly concentrated in northern Jiangsu. The results provided a reference for the government to formulate the strategic emerging industrial policies of different districts and counties, and provided the basis for the better development of strategic emerging industries.
