Abstract: The nutrition factors of soil, leaf and fruit, and quality of fruits in citrus orchards from Yidu, Dangyang, and Zigui county in Hubei province were investigated and analyzed, referred to the standard of diagnostic on citrus nutrition, the results demonstrated that boron (B) was deficient in soil of Yidu and Dangyang, where manganese (Mn) was excessive while zinc (Zn) was deficient, calcium (Ca) was excessive in soil of Zigui; the soil from three different areas contained insufficient nitrogen (N) and Zn, but too much Mn; due to the main cultivars in above areas, the nutritional levels were different from each other. Based on the above conclusion, the soil environment and plant nutritional levels were determined and theoretically contributed to the nutritional diagnostic, fertilizing efficiency and ecological improvement for the development of the citrus industry in Hubei province.
