Abstract: Agricultural subsidies will have an impact on the agro-ecological environment by changing farmers' production decision-making behavior while promoting increased production and income.Based on the survey data of 375 households in Qitai county,this study used multiple regression analysis to analyze the factors affecting the fertilizer application of farmers,and measured the environmental impact of subsidy policy by using the changes in fertilizer use.The results show that agricultural subsidies have a very significant positive impact on the amount of fertilizer input,and the more the subsidy amount,the more fertilizer input.Farmers are more willing to use the subsidy income to increase the input of agricultural products such as fertilizers and pesticides.The subsidies will increase the amount of fertilizer applied by farmers,thus affecting the ecological environment.
