Abstract: Ecological stoichiometry studies the dynamic balance between energy and multiple chemical elements (mainly C, N, P) and analyzes the impact of this balance on ecosystems. Those have been one of global research hotspots. However, there are few study articles on agro-ecological stoichiometry. The research progress in three aspects of farmland soil ecological stoichiometry, crop ecological stoichiometry, and the correlation between soil and crop ecological stoichiometry were reviewed, in order to provide reference for the related research of farmland ecological stoichiometry.

Key words: agro-ecological system, eco-stoichiometry, farmland soil nutrient balance, crop-soil nutrient relationship
