Analysis of garden design method of nursing home from the perspective of rehabilitation landscape

Abstract

Abstract: Under the background of entering into the aging society in our country, nursing institutions for the aged has become the main part of old-age service system construction, and its garden environment design should reflect the characteristics of landscape rehabilitation, which can help the old people recover physically and mentally, make them enjoy high quality of senile life, and improve space utilization to obtain good social and economic benefits. The author expounds from the following three aspects,the meaning of outdoor environment of nursing institutions to the elderly, the physical and mental characteristics of old people, the use and design of nursing institutions, putting forward some designing strategies of selecting the environment and layout, the organization of tour line to the plant landscape, so as to provide some reference suggestions to related projects in the future research.
