Abstract: Selected Urumqi county as the research area, field survey was used to collect data, and binary logistic regression model was used to study the factors influencing the livelihood of settled herdsmen. The results showed that, on the one hand, the scores of economic factors, social factors and cultural factors were higher than other factors, which were 1.981 97, 1.433 53 and 1.115 75, while the scores of production factors and ecological factors were 0.616 87 and 0.390 16. On the other hand, herdsmen did not fully adapt to the life after settlement, and there were some problems in the implementation of the policy. Based on the quantitative analysis of the problems existing in the livelihood of settled herdsmen, this research put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
