Self governance： Practical dilemma and mechanism reconstruction of rural residential environment improvement：Taking TG district of Jinzhong city in Shanxi province as an example

Abstract

Abstract: Continuously improving the living environment in rural areas is an important task in implementing the rural revitalization strategy, which is related to the fundamental well-being of farmers. In order to get rid of many practical difficulties exposed by the practice of rural residential environment improvement, such as weak motivation of farmers’ independent governance behavior, low willingness to cooperate, poor effectiveness of rules and so on. On the basis of independent governance theory, this study analyzed the practical difficulties of rural human settlements improvement in TG district of Jinzhong city, Shanxi province through field investigation and unstructured interview, and finally put forward the resolution mechanism from three aspects： Behavior motivation, cooperation willingness and rule effectiveness.
