Abstract: Based on the panel data of 31 provinces(cities, autonomous regions) in China from 2007 to 2017, the fixed effect model was used to empirically analyze the impact of comprehensive agricultural development investment on the income gap between urban and rural residents in China. The results showed that the higher the investment in comprehensive agricultural development, the more conducive to the narrowing of the income gap between urban and rural residents. There was a negative correlation between the two, and the income gap between urban and rural residents could be narrowed through the scientific management of land, the promotion of agricultural industrialization and the development of modern agricultural parks. In this regard, some policy suggestions were put forward, such as continuously promoting the investment in agricultural comprehensive development and timely optimizing the structure of agricultural comprehensive development.
