Abstract: The village official system of college students is an important measure for the construction of new countryside,which is of profound significance to the development of agriculture, rural areas and farmers in China. From the evolution of the village official system of college students,and combined with the practice performance of college student village officials in the "three rural" construction,the role of college student village officials in villager autonomy was analyzed. The results showed that the role of college student village officials in villager autonomy was mainly reflected in three stages of gradual progress：the impact of college student village officials on traditional rural society,the transformation from technology disseminators to institution builders,and a new chapter of villager autonomy was opened with the village officials of college students.
