Abstract: The effects of different pesticide reduction techniques on the control effects and yield of striped rice borer[Chilo suppressalis(Walker)] were studied. The results showed that reasonable combination of biopesticides and low-risk high-efficiency pesticide substitution, natural enemies release, auxiliaries reduction and physical and chemical induction technology could achieve substitute chemical pesticides and control the harm of striped rice borer. The measured yield was higher than that in the same ecological control area.

Key words: ratoon rice, pesticide reduction, striped rice borer[Chilo suppressalis(Walker)], control effects, yield
