Study on Structural Reform Pathways of Agricultural Supply Side from the Local Perspective——Based on An Empirical Investigation of 231 New Agricultural Business Entities in Xianning City

Abstract: 231 new agricultural business entities and some agriculture-related departments in Xianning city were observed through questionnaires and interviews, to analyze and discuss the structural reform pathways of agricultural supply side. The results showed that, the poor quality of agricultural products, weak agricultural infrastructure facilities, inadequate scientific and technological supports, overhead farmer-benefiting policies, the aging of business entities and other factors greatly restricted the agricultural supply-side structural reform of Xianning city at present. Then measures and suggestions for promoting the agricultural supply-side structural reform of Xianning were put forward from conducting policies in line with industries, changing due to quality, guiding situation and positioning according to local conditions, and other aspects.
