TRAP analysis of disease resistance related gene TAO1-like in sweet potato

Abstract: NBS-LRR is the largest class of isolated disease resistance genes in plants, Target of AvrB Operation(TAO1)belongs to NBS-LRR class genes. Using sweet potato disease resistance genes NBS-LRR as target gene to design one fixed primer,and for paring 11 pairs primers with 11 arbitrary primers. The 11 pairs of primers were used for TRAP-PCR amplification of sweet potato cultivars Eshu 11 and Ezishu 13. It was found that 11 primer combinations amplified clear bands and showed good polymorphism. The TRAP marker that associated with the TAO1-like gene were obtained, which could be used to analyze the genetic diversity of sweet potato population and provide a theoretical basis for disease resistance breeding of sweet potato.
