Abstract: In recent years, the black rot on young walnut stems has seriously affected the sound development of the industry in this area. In order to clarify the pathogen and improve the effect of managing this disease, identification and screening of the fungicide against the pathogen from walnut young stem were carried out in laboratory. The results showed that the black rot on walnut was mainly caused by Fusarium culmorum and the pathogen was sensitive to different fungicides. Among them, the toxicity of 40% flusilazole emulsifiable concentrate was the strongest one with an EC50 of 0.383 7 μg/mL, followed by 43% tebuconazole suspension with an EC50 of 9.192 1 μg/mL, and 70% thiophanate methyl wettable powder with an EC50 of 2 010.961 μg/mL. In the practice of pathogen control, 40% flusilazole emulsifiable concentrate and 43% tebuconazole suspension should be considered as the main control agents Fusarium culmorum from walnut stem.
