Abstract: The development of industry is the fundamental policy to get rid of poverty. However, there were many common problems in the selection and layout, cultivation and support, operation and development of industrial poverty alleviation in some poverty-stricken areas, which affected the overall and long-term effect of industrial poverty alleviation, and were not conducive to the realization of sustainable poverty alleviation. Taking S county, a deep poverty-stricken county in Xinjiang as the research area, this study constructed the evaluation index system of the implementation effect of industrial poverty alleviation based on the analytic hierarchy process, and evaluated the implementation effect of industrial poverty alleviation in S county from the perspective of farmers. The results showed that in the process of industrial poverty alleviation in S county, the autonomy of farmers to participate in poverty alleviation projects was not high, the accuracy and effectiveness of skill training was not strong, and the benefit of new business entities was not high.
