Study on ecological value accounting of forest resources in Banma County, Qinghai Province

Abstract

Abstract: Taking Banma County of Qinghai Province as an example, the ecological value of forest resources in this area in 2020 was calculated and analyzed by using the alternative engineering method, market price method and shadow price method. The results showed that the total ecological value of forest resources in Banma County in 2020 was 19.643 billion yuan, of which the four ecological values of water conservation value, carbon fixation and oxygen production function value, soil and water conservation function value and biodiversity value were the main ecological service function value of forest resources in Banma County, accounting for 93.92% of the total value. According to the research conclusions, some suggestions were put forward, such as optimizing the forest resources protection and management policies and systems, establishing a scientific and reasonable ecological benefit compensation mechanism, and increasing capital investment and policy support, in order to provide technical support for forest resources protection and management, as well as case reference and method reference for forest resources ecological value accounting in other regions.
