Abstract: In order to strengthen the construction of rural civilization, give full play to the important role of confucian filial piety culture in alleviating social pension contradictions, building a harmonious social relationship and improving people’s spiritual civilization. By analyzing the main ideas of confucian filial piety culture and the existing filial piety problems in rural areas, this study puts forward that measures such as promoting the excellent traditional filial piety culture, changing the single old-age mode, guiding the public opinion and so on to alleviate the problems of filial piety in the governance of rural customs, such as the lack of filial piety culture, the dilution of filial piety, the contradiction between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, so as to realize the governance function of rural customs of filial piety culture.
