Abstract: In view of the current phenomenon that the traditional single subject could not effectively deal with the complexity and integrity of rural ecological environment governance, the problems faced in rural ecological environment governance was analyzed by using the network governance theory. It was found that there were many difficulties, such as the alienation of subject objectives, unreasonable power and responsibility structure, asymmetric information between subjects, imperfect governance guarantee mechanism, and so on. This paper also explored the network governance path of rural ecological environment from four aspects of clarifying governance objectives, coordinating multiple subjects, building an information sharing platform and improving governance guarantee mechanism.
