Abstract: By building a DEA-SBM model for evaluating the eco-efficiency of modern agriculture in high-efficiency ecological economic zone of the Yellow River Delta, the eco-efficiency of modern agriculture in the Yellow River Delta was measured with Binzhou city as a case region. Then comparing the measuring results with the agricultural technical efficiency in the case of no pollution variable with the CCR model, the results showed that, the eco-efficiency of modern agriculture in the high-efficiency ecological economic zone of the Yellow River Delta was gradually improved, but there were regional differences, and the loss of eco-efficiency was primarily caused by the environmental pollution resulted from excessive inputs of the chemical fertilizer and pesticide, along with overuse and extensive management of the agricultural machinery, labor force, land and water resources.
