Abstract: Rural residential land is a space for rural residents to live in, and it is also a guarantee for the lives of farmers. As the process of urbanization and industrialization in our country accelerates and large numbers of rural surplus labor force flood into towns and cities, some rural areas have seen unfavorable phenomena such as idle houses, hollowed-out homesteads, and one-family multi-family homes. The waste of rural land is serious. Not fully and reasonably used. This paper analyzes the reasons for the idleness of rural housing sites and proposes targeted solutions to provide reference for the realization of social stability and long-term development in rural areas.
