Abstract: The production status quo of silage corn（Zea mays L.） in Xiangyang city, the benefits of planting silage corn and the problems in the implementation process were analyzed. Suggestions to determining the number of cultivation by the number of breeding, promoting collaboration between the department of agriculture and animal husbandry, strengthening government guidance, and industrial development seminars and technical training were put forward, aiming to promoting the development of animal husbandry and adjustment of planting structure in Xiangyang city.
