Experiments of Cultivation for Hericium erinaceus in Bottles

Abstract

Abstract: The effects of different cultivation bottles,opening time and medium formulations on the growth of Hericium erinaceus in bottles were studied. The results showed that, the spawn bottle with 800 mL of volume and 4.0 cm of caliber was the best,25 d was the most suitable opening time, and the medium containing 58% cotton seed hull and 20% sawdust could increase the production markedly.
