Abstract: After the herbicide is applied to the soil,a part of the herbicide remains in the soil, causing serious environmental pollution. The issue of the safety of the post-cultivated crop has been widely concerned by the society. The main way to degrade herbicides in soil is microbial degradation. This article reviews the residual hazards, current research status, degradation pathways, and the degradation of microorganisms in four common pesticides (sulfonylureas, imidazolinones, oxazolinones, triazolopyrimidinesulfonamides),problems and solutions.

Key words: herbicide, residual, microbial degradation
