New cultivars of Lagerstroemia Zhie Zhizhi Fen and Honghuan Fenjing

Abstract

Abstract: New varieties of Lagerstroemia indica Zhie Zhizhi Fen and Lagerstroemia indica Honghuan Fenjing, were selected through collecting widely seeds of various sources and varieties of crape myrtle, developing of mixed seed grow seedlings and using natural hybridization seedling-selection method. Through the clonal genetic stability experiment, the two new varieties of stable genetic traits, wide adaptability, strong resistance, high ornamental value, with excellent ornamental value in summer, has been applied in city landscaping,
