Abstract: Rural women in poverty-stricken areas are the mainstay of social development, and actions derived from women's decision-making can truly solve women's own problems. Taking the comprehensive community development project of the community as an example, the paper starts with the community environment and resources, and introduces the background and project objectives of the rural women-led community construction project on the basis of comprehensive understanding of the natural environment, human resources, social culture and economic development of rural communities. The focus is on the construction of the project from three aspects:cooperation organization construction, microfinance service and public space construction. In view of this, the paper further explores the effect of rural women-led community construction from three aspects:the reduction of vulnerability under the concept of development, the optimization of resource utilization from the perspective of advantages, and gender equality under empowerment strategies.

Key words: rural women, community building, poverty-stricken areas
