Abstract: The quality of compound fertilizer, organic-inorganic compound fertilizer, organic fertilizer and bio-organic fertilizer in main tea producing areas of Hubei province was evaluated. According to the national standards of different types of fertilizers, the evaluation was carried out through the three certificates of fertilizers, the inspection of packaging labels and the sampling inspection of fertilizers. The results showed that the qualified rate of compound fertilizer was 69.23%. The qualified rate of organic-inorganic compound fertilizer was only 27.27%. The qualified rate of organic fertilizer was 33.33%. The qualified rate of bio-organic fertilizer was 46.15%. It was suggested to strengthen government supervision, formulate relevant standards for tea plantations, and strengthen the scientific fertilization concept of tea farmers.
