Abstract: Aiming to determine the field control effect and dosage of 20% dinotefuran SG on rice brown planthopper [Nilaparvata lugens (Stal)], spraying the leaves of rice seedlings by cage method, the control effects of 20% dinotefuran SG against rice brown planthopper after the drug 2~7 days was investigated. The control effects of 20% dinotefuran SG at the concentration of 60~600 g/hm2 were similar to that of 25% thiamethoxam WG 60~120 g/hm2, which were better than that of 50% pymetrozine SG 300~600 g/hm2 and 10% imidacloprid WP 300~600 g/hm2. The recommended dosage of 20% dinotefuran SG was 60 g/hm2 in the field.
