Abstract: Based on the data of the number of inbound tourists and foreign exchange income in Zhejiang province from 2000 to 2017, this paper uses quantitative methods such as ArcGIS and Matlab to study the evolution process of spatial and temporal pattern and influencing factors of inbound tourism flow in Zhejiang province. The study found that,the number of inbound tourists and foreign exchange income increased rapidly. From 2000 to 2017, the development trend of interannual change index of foreign tourists, Hong Kong tourists, and Taiwan tourists remained consistent. There is fierce competition among prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang province for inbound tourism flow,the flow of inbound tourism in Zhejiang province presents an increasing spatial and temporal distribution pattern from southwest to northeast. The flow quality of inbound tourism in Zhejiang province has been continuously improved, and the flow quality index of each prefecture-level city has changed greatly, and the spatial distribution difference has gradually narrowed. The tourism flow in Zhejiang province is greatly influenced by the GDP and the amout of foreign direct investment, while the tourism flow have great influence on the exchange rate change and the number of star-rated hotels.
