Abstract: The “14th Five-Year” plan for 2020 emphasizes promoting a new type of urbanization centered on people, strengthening basic public service guarantees, and accelerating the urbanization of agricultural transfer populations. In this context, the influencing factors of the willingness of migrant workers to become citizens in Shaanxi province were analyzed by using the 2017 national migrant population dynamic monitoring data and binary Logistic regression model. The research found that education in the demographic variables, monthly household income, monthly household expenditure, homeowner's contracted land, employment status and the number of family members living together in the family characteristic variables, the establishment of social security cards and temporary residence permits/residence permits, the willingness of social integration in the social characteristic variables, and the length of mobility in the mobility characteristic variables had significant impact on the willingness of migrant workers to become citizens in Shaanxi province. Among them, factors such as the presence or absence of contracted land in the hometown, the establishment of a temporary residence permit/residence permit, and the willingness to integrate into society were more significant. Therefore, it was proposed that the government should strengthen the top-level design and improve the social security mechanism, coordinate social resources and strengthen social support, so as to further promote the citizenization of migrant workers in Shaanxi province.
