Analysis and regionalization of agricultural climate resources in Cheng county

Abstract: Statistical principles, spreadsheets and GIS techniques were used for statistical analysis of meteorological and agrometeorological observation data and hydrological data of Cheng county of Gansu province from 1981 to 2015. At the same time, the climate resources, climate change status, the degree of meteorological disaster and the influence of climate on planting and breeding in Cheng county of Gansu province were analyzed with the data from agriculture, forestry and breeding industry. With illustrated in the form of comprehensive analysis demonstrates the development and utilization of climate resources of Cheng county and the effect of meteorological disasters of agroforestry and countermeasures, based on the application of heat index and water index and comprehensive index will become county was divided into three climatic regions and two climatic subregions, namely ⅠA warm semi-humid zone grain economic crop areas,ⅡBa temperate humid climate grain economic forest area, ⅡBb mild and humid climate agriculture and forestry sub region, ⅡBc warm and mild semi-arid agricultural economy area, ⅢC temperature cool moist forests, pastoral areas.
