Abstract: 6 SNPs in the full length of HDLBP transcript were identified as a synonymous mutation in adult hens. Association between two SNPs and egg performance traits were analyzed in Xinhua E-strain chickens, which showed that they were highly significantly associated with AFE and EW (P<0.05), suggesting that it was a candidate gene related with egg production. The HDLBP mRNA in different sized follicles showed that the expression was progressively increased in follicles from undifferentiated follicles to SYFs, and maintain stable in pre-ovulatory follicle. Besides, FSH, EGF, VEGF with dosage dependent could regulate the expression of HDLBP in granulosa cells of phases, while Follistatin showed no effect.
