Abstract: Based on the protection principles and policies of the integration and optimization of nature reserves, this study expounded the background of the national park system, summarized the current situation of nature reserves in Sanmenxia city of Henan province, and found that there were some problems, such as over lapping, multiple management, unclear boundary, incomplete information, fragmented and isolated nature reserves. According to the existing problems, this study put forward the corresponding integration and optimization measures, so that the ecological environment of local nature reserves can be more comprehensively protected and the ecological chain of reserves can be formed, which provided a scientific and effective basis for the delimitation of national parks in the future.
