Evaluation of ecological efficiency in Jiangsu province based on Super-SBM model

Abstract: Considering the unexpected output in the production process, using Super-SBM model and Malmquist index, the ecological efficiency of 13 prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu province from 2009 to 2018 was measured from the perspective of input-output, and Tobit model was used to explore the influencing factors of their temporal and spatial differences. The results show that the overall level of ecological efficiency of 13 cities in Jiangsu province shows a downward trend from 2009 to 2018; Scale efficiency and comprehensive technical efficiency are the driving forces to promote the growth of ecological efficiency, while technological progress restricts the growth of ecological efficiency, while government support for science and technology will have a significant impact on the improvement of ecological efficiency. Therefore, it is necessary to promote the efficient transformation of scientific research achievements into actual productivity, attract innovative talents and inject new vitality into regional development.
