Abstract: Based on the social questionnaire data of the living conditions of rural married women in Zhongshan city, Guangdong province in April 2017, from two dimensions of emotion and behavior, the adaptation problem of rural marriage-migrated women in two fields of their husband’s family and community were discussed. The results showed that the social economic and cultural customs of different sources brought great challenges to the social adaptation of rural marriage-migrated women, women in south China had generally adapted better than those in non-south China. In terms of economic factors, there was a trend that women with non-agricultural occupation and higher income had better cognition at the community level, but women with higher income had a weak sense of spatial belonging. From the perspective of family, the psychological adaptation of marriage-migrated women in the family of their husband’s parents lived, especially in the family of their husband’s mother lived, was poor, and the adaptation of marriage-migrated women in two brother families was worse than that in single child and multi child families.
