Abstract: Taking Yunyan 87 as material, the physiological indexes, growth condition and economic indexes of flue-cured tobacco leaves were detected after artificially adding different time and intensity UV-B at seedling stage. The results showed that short-term UV-B irradiation (1.20 W/m2, 1 h per day) significantly increased the root activity of tobacco seedlings, and significantly increased the SOD, POD and PPO activities. It was beneficial to the tobacco seedlings and the yield and quality of cured tobacco of UV-B irradiation at continuous and uniform and low-intensity level(1.20 W/m2、1 hour per day,10 hours in total). Therefor, it is beneficial to supplement appropriate amount of UV-B in flue-cured tobacco facilities for seedling raising.
