Isolation and Screening of Endophytic Fungi with Antimicrobial Activityin Metasequoia

Abstract: In this research,17 strains of the endophytic fungi were separated from the leaves and bark of Metasequoia glyptostroboides with different colony morphology,and the strains with antagonistic action were screened by dual culture method against plant pathogenic fungi including Fusarium proliferatum,F. graminearum,Setosphaeria turcica,Helminthosporium maydis. 1 strain was obtaind with antagonism to these strains above,named SS-17. With the morphology and ITS molecular identification of SS-17 strain,it was identified as Epicoccum nigrum.
