Regression analysis of main components of consumer demand in Jiangsu province

Abstract

Abstract: In order to study the deficiency of consumer demand in current society, based on relevant data of Jiangsu province from 2002 to 2012, this thesis, selecting relevant factors that may influence consumption demand, using correlation analysis and principal component analysis, explores the impact of various factors on consumer demand. It is concluded that the most influential factors on per capita consumption expenditure are per capita GDP, urban and rural health care expenditure, and benchmark interest rate. According to the analysis results, the thesis puts forward some Suggestions to improve the consumption level.
