Abstract: In order to explore the high yield cultivation mode of high starch sweet potato [Ipomoea batatas (Linn.) Lamarck], the effects of four factors including different fertilizers, sweet potato cultivars, planting densities and mulching types on vine yield, fresh root tuber production, dry matter rate and T/R value(ratio of fresh vine yield and fresh root tuber production)were studied by an orthogonal randomized test. The results showed that combination A3B1C3D2, that is, applying compound fertilizer, choosing Shangshu 19, covering black film, planting density of 59 895/hm2, had the highest production of fresh root tuber. The vine yield, dry matter rate and fresh root tuber production of compound fertilizer was the highest; The effect of sweet potato cultivar on vine and T/R value was the most remarkable; Mulching can improve dry matter content and the production of haulm and tuber; And the effect of cultivation density on dry matter content was the highest.
