Abstract: The flue-cured tobacco variety Yunyan 87 was used as the test material. The effects of artificial rocking, soluble starch medium pollen-assisted pollination, and sucrose liquid-assisted pollination on the yield and quality of tobacco seeds were compared. The results showed that compared with natural pollination, the yield of tobacco seeds and the number of single fruit grains were significantly increased. Among them, soluble starch media pollen-assisted pollination and artificial rocking are particularly effective in increasing tobacco seed yield and single fruit number, which are 39.7%, 87.4%, 28.4%, and 82.5% higher than the control, respectively, which are significantly different from the control. Different auxiliary pollination methods had no significant effect on tobacco seed quality. Artificial shaking is a cost-effective auxiliary pollination method.
