Abstract: Targeted poverty alleviation in ethnic villages was the result of accurate questioning of the traditional poverty alleviation model, and was the due meaning of poverty alleviation in ethnic villages. However, there were still many difficulties in the current poverty alleviation in ethnic villages. It is necessary to clarify three basic issues, namely, the precise connotation and path of poverty alleviation in ethnic villages, the cultural evolution and cultural relativity of poverty alleviation in ethnic villages, and the initiative and motivation of poverty alleviation in ethnic villages, so as to remove the basic obstacles for targeted poverty alleviation in ethnic villages．
