Abstract: Zhanjiang cross-strait agricultural cooperation experimental zone since its inception, to Zhanjiang agriculture, especially the development of fruits, flowers, nursery stock industry plays an exploration and leading role, to promote the development of regional industrial integration and making a good demonstration for the development of the industry. In the first year of the “14th Five-Year Plan”, according to its construction guidelines, the north core area of the Zhanjiang cross-strait agricultural cooperation experimental zone was explored and studied. It was found that the high quality development of the experimental zone was faced with problems such as uncoordinated overall planning, incomplete planning, insufficient digital information platform construction, insufficient development funding, and inefficient collaborative innovation. Through investigation and analysis, the corresponding countermeasures are put forward for the optimization development of the experimental area, such as overall planning power, endurance, influence, explosive power and innovation power.
