Abstract: The nutrient compositions of wild and farmed P. dabryanus were analyzed. The results showed that the water content, ash, crude fat and crude protein of wild P. dabryanus were 77.30%, 1.30%, 1.10% and 18.10%, respectively, and those of farmed P. dabryanus were 71.80%, 1.10%, 5.30% and 17.20%, respectively. The total of 18 amino acids was 17.40% in wild individuals and 15.50% in farmed individuals. In which, Tryptophan, Phenylalanine and Glycine in farmed individuals were slightly higher than those in wild individuals, and the other 15 amino acids were higher in wild individuals. The contents of essential amino acids for human and the delicious amino acids in wild individuals were 8.03% and 6.47% respectively, higher than those in farmed individuals which were 6.84% and 6.02%. The unsaturated fatty acids accounted for 67.13% and 77.39% of the total fatty acids in wild and farmed P. dabryanus, in which the polyunsaturated fatty acids in wild and farmed P. dabryanus were 27.39% and 41.65%, the DHA+EPA accounted for 4.20% and 1.59% of the total fatty acids respectively.
