Bioinformatics and diversity analysis of matK gene of Lindera aggregate

Abstract: Taking chloroplast matK gene of Lindera aggregate(Sims)Kosterm as a research object. This paper analyzed the sequence characteristics of matK encoded protein and the phylogenetic trees of 11 species of Lindera were constructed. The results showed that the full length of matK gene was 1 628 bp, and contained 14 open reading frames (ORFs); The hydrophilic index was -0.200, which belonged to hydrophilic protein; It was closely related to Lindera obtusiloba and Lindera thomsonii, and farthest to Lindera glauca. This study provides a basis for the identification, classification and diversity of Lindera aggregate.
