Abstract: Taking discarded tobacco leaves as raw material, the chlorogenic acid was extracted from tobacco leaves by ethanol assisted with enzyme. Single factor experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of soaking temperature, soaking time, extraction temperature, and solid-liquid ratio on chlorogenic acid extraction rate. On this basis, the extraction process was optimized by the response surface experiments. The results showed that the optimized parameters were as follows:soaking temperature 60 ℃, soaking time 1 h, leaching temperature 90 ℃, and solid-liquid ratio 1∶25(mV). Under the above process, the chlorogenic acid extraction rate was 25.709 mg/g, which was consistent with the model predicted value of 25.863 mg/g.
