Effects of different fertilization treatments on photosynthetic characteristics of Dendrobium nobile

Abstract: Using Dendrobium nobile seedlings from Chishui City of Guizhou Province as experimental materials, univariate analysis and orthogonal experiment were carried out under different fertilization treatments. The photosynthetic characteristics of Dendrobium nobile were tested using Li-6400 portable photosynthesis measurement system (Li-Cor,USA). The results showed that the application of Hoaglan nutrient solution could effectively improve the net photosynthetic rate of Dendrobium nobile. The speed of the photosynthetic rate was positively related to the stomatal conductance of Dendrobium nobile, and the daily variation of stomatal conductance was directly related to the daily variation of the transpiration rate. Among all factors, potassium fertilizer had a greater impact on the net photosynthetic rate and transpiration rate, reaching a significant level, while nitrogen fertilizer affected the stomatal conductance. Potassium fertilizer and nitrogen fertilizer should be applied rationally in production.
