Abstract: Taking 20 rice（Oryza sativa L.） varieties as materials， the rice cultivars comparative test was carried out， and the aspects of growth period， yield， quality and resistance of those varieties were compared，the character performance and adaptability of each variety under rice shrimp cultivation mode were analyzed. The results showed that eight varieties including Fudao88， Taoyouxiangzhan，Y liangyou 911， Xiadao No.1， Yinliangyou 851， Xinliangyou 188， Anhui No.1and Fujian No.1，and these varieties with high yield， moderate growth period and good comprehensive characteristics could be planted as shrimp rice varieties.
